Oak Creek Public Library
I will have a pastel of a Bobcat on display for the month of February at the Oak Creek public library. The piece will be displayed in a glass case along with works by other Oak Creek Artists. Check it out if you are in the Oak Creek area. The library is just north of the fire station near the Peutz and Howell intersection and west of Oak Creek High School.
Upper Dark Canyon

My most recent pastel landscape is entitled “Upper Dark Canyon. The mesa in the background divides into two canyons. The Canyon to the left is Grapevine Canyon and the Canyon to the right is Woodenshoe canyon. This scene is a little downstream from the junction of the those two canyons with Dark Canyon.
Canyonlands Pronghorn

I have just completed “Canyonlands Pronghorn”, another pastel landscape.
Coatlicue

She was the mother of the sun, the mother of the war god, one of five moon goddesses and the great earth mother who nurtures all things. To entice men to their deaths, she could transform herself into an alluring beauty.
